Karla Bartlett, PTA, CPT

Karla completed her undergraduate studies at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA. She completed Loma Linda University's PTA program in 2001. At LLU, she received the Alumni Association Scholarship Award and the Fred B. Moore Award for outstanding clinical performance. After graduation, she became a team member of the Arrowhead Orthopaedics Physical Therapy department and now heads AO's Sports Conditioning and Orthopedic Rehab program (S.C.O.R.). Her credentials include: Pneumex Certified Trainer, Speed and Power Specialist, Sports Conditioning Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer. She has been running the S.C.O.R. program since 2006 and has trained over 200 athletes. Karla has focused her practical skills in the area of orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, aquatic therapy, and wound care. 

She earned her instructor certification in Pilates in 2002, Yoga in 2006, and Tai Chi in 2017. Karla keeps a healthy lifestyle through the practice of yoga which has helped her find focus, discipline and serenity in life. It has given her the power to control her body and mind in every aspect of my life. It has taught her that there is no limit to what one can do and she tries to impart that to her patients and clients. 

Between managing a full time job and being a dedicated wife to her husband Ashton and mother to her daughter Lauren, Karla keeps it together by carving out time for herself to carry out her other interests which includes sewing, crafting, interior and fashion design and cooking. She has also built her very own yoga pants company and distributes her merchandise to local yoga studios around the area.
